Abducting Jim Pt. 3

With Jim's attitude growing more bold and his decisions becoming more risky, he agrees to the mission presented to him by the four aliens. Jim knows if he is to return to his old life, he must take action and muscle through these difficult times. Standing in front of the ship's bay window, Jim faces Jalt, both of their faces overcome with a sense of agreement. Jalt steps away from Jim and heads behind the captain's chair where Quix sits.

"Alright Wazop, Quix, you heard him, we are ready to take action!" Jalt exclaimed.

"Yes sir! Strap yourselves in, I am now entering the coordinates to our destination," Wazop announced in his robotic voice.

"Exactly where are we going?" Jim queried.

"I will explain to you where we are and why we are there when we get there," Jalt spoke in a redundant tone.

Jalt and Feidra place themselves next to Jim on the barbed leather couch, which then grabs hold of the three adventurers waists with a neon fuchsia colored snake-skin seatbelt. Jim, taken by complete surprise when this happens. In this state of shock, the ship starts to power up its engine.

"Prepare yourself for overdrive, as soon as we move, we will instantaneously be propelled through space," Quix said, informing Jim as he was the only one still unaware of the type of energy these alien inventions could harness.

With a nudge of the control stick from Quix, the ship excelled to a speed incomprehensible to Jim's mind. Within the matter of a second, they arrived near a planet with green clouds and oceans. Land ranged in all kind colors, mostly a grayish blue. Jim threw up on himself once again as his stomach just barely caught up with him from the trip. The little robots came out again to clean Jim, while Jalt stood in preparation of an explanation for Jim.

"Jim, we are now outside the atmosphere of Crugan-S. A planet millenniums ahead Earth. This planet is completely clear of life near the cities, but life is seen near vegetated areas, life we have never met. A prophecy has remained on this planet since life first appeared on it. A monument is on this planet, a monument which will help us, you, and everyone else all over the universes."

Jim stood up after his vomit was cleaned off of him. He approached the bay window once again. Processing everything Jalt had told him up until that point, Jim was still concerned with what he would have to do.

"Jalt, I am very surprised to see all of this, but what am I supposed to do once we get down there?" Jim queried once more.

"All in good time Jim, all in good time," Jalt reassured him.

Just then, a red light started flashing and a siren blared.

"Jalt, we've got company!" Quix nervously announced.

"Who is it?" Jalt asked.

"Sabjen Mercs, traveling in an attack formation."

"We need to get out of here. Kick up the stealth shield and find us a place to land on Crugan-S."

"Yes sir!" Quix replied to Jalt.

Wazop pressed a glowing neon green button and the ship disappeared from the Sabjen Mercs. Quix took control of the ship and headed down into Crugan-S's atmosphere. They landed nearly 50 miles away from the monument that would save them.

"Do you think we could have landed a little closer, Quix?"

"Well Wazop you tell me, you want to risk landing near the monument and have the Sabjen Mercs spot us when our shield runs out of plasma power? Or should we hide under this patch of trees and safely make our way to the monument?"

"Quix, we could have routed power from the engine to our stealth shield, we would have been alright!"

"Wazop, if we did that, then we wouldn't have enough power left to get out of here and get Jim home!"

"Will we be safe on this planet, Jalt?" Jim asked.

"Jim, you have us with you, everything will be fine, I guarantee it."
