He observed his surroundings without telling his eyes to. In fact, most of his body would not listen to his desperate commands. Every now and then, he felt one of his legs twitch in response to a mental scream to kick, but not much else happened. His mind was sharp and alert. The steady flow of visual stimuli continued to enter his brain without his permission, and the images grew more and more disturbing as time wore on.


After what seemed like years, he had lost count of the number of murders he had witnessed.
