Falling Thread

Falling Thread is made by making impressions of river rocks, and then working back into it with colored pencil and stitching. Decidedly more abstract, This illustration is invested in looking at the accommodations that objects make for one another, such as waters path that changes over the river rock, and the change in shape of the stones, after being worn down by the constant rushing water.
